Who cares about toilets? In Health Care Facilities.
Public health depends on toilets. Unless everybody in a community has a safe toilet, everybody’s health is threatened. Toilets also enable quality health care. Proper toilets in health facilities protect dignity, prevent infections in patients, staff and visitors, and ensure quality care. In this video, Enisa takes you on a journey through her work on toilets in health care facilities in Montenegro – work that the WHO European Centre for Environment and Health has been supporting.
