Goal – To begin the conversation about the condition of our wastewater systems – to talk about Toilets: their role in our health, livelihood, tourism (cruises, resorts, ecotourism), and economy.
We are calling decision-makers and leaders in Jamaica to be thoughtful in our design of the systems the we depend upon. We want to see Jamaica develop in a way that allows us to be more self-reliant and resilient in the face of any natural disaster. We need to think about how to responsibly process the result of eating and drinking- pee and poop. How will Jamaica develop a national strategy for sanitation?
Other main topic of the Jamaica Toilet Summit will be Disaster Sanitation Preparedness
