In this video, the World Bank explores how sanitation is critical and central to public health and to the dignity and wellbeing of all citizens. The video explains the different facet of the sanitation service chains, from partnerships within cities to deliver these services, to the accessing of these services in a sustainable way, ultimately contributing to a thriving urban economy. Urban sanitation services also need to ensure that the solutions are consumer centric. The World Bank also outlines in this video the 5 steps of the Sanitation Service Chain, which includes: the User Interface, Emptying and Collection, Conveyance, Treatment and End Use or Disposal.
