on the eve of world toilet day 2016, Koppal zilla panchayat made an effort to celebrate 16 open defecation free villages spanned across three talukas. The schudle started from 5 am in the morning and ended at 3 pm.Early morning, officials of gram panchayat concerned, elected representatives, teachers and school children took round of villages and performed followup activity. then a public function was conducted in the school to fecilitate the persons who are responsible to make the villlage ODF.then competions on health and sanitation was conducted in each of 16 villages and prizes were given to students.
