Across the world 1 in 3 people still don’t have access to a basic toilet. Poor sanitation puts children at high risk of developing diseases such as diarrhoea which can lead to stunted growth, malnutrition and often fatality. The United Nations have said that by 2030 everyone in the world should have access to safe water and a proper toilet. Pump Aid thinks that children shouldn’t have to wait that long. Help us bring this date forward.
