Who would have thought an entire art exhibition based on toilets, would encourage respected artists to create and be inspired the porcelain Goddess.
Artists have always pushed the boundaries of society, so what better subject than toilets to inspire a quirky and exciting exhibition? Don’t Forget to Flush is a way of raising awareness and curiosity about a subject that can often be viewed as taboo. Don’t Forget to Flush (kids) We are going into schools to talk to children about the problems children their age face in other parts of the world where they don’t even have a toilet in their school! The children are drawing pictures to raise awareness, tell their parents and friends, and will take part in an online exhibition and a private view in the gallery, like grown-up artists. www.catherinefenton.com We will be having a talk on the 21 by Richard Higgins of www.suaglon.co.uk who will be talking about toilet solutions for areas that suffer from water shortages.
